OzBioPharm is a wholly owned Australian Animal Health Company. OzBioPharm was launched in February 2004 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.

OzBioPharm is the distributor for the animal health products of Alpharma Inc. in Australia and New Zealand. These are proprietary products used to maintain and improve the health of poultry, pigs and cattle. Well known brand names include;

Poultry - Albac, Avatec, Cygro, Biocox, Gromax, Cycostat, Cycarb, 3 Nitro

Cattle - Bovatec, Deccox, Biocox , Aurofac

Swine - Reporcin, Aurofac, BMD, Biocox

OzBioPharm is the exclusive global distributor for Reporcin. Reporcin is one of the first products of biotechnology to be used in animal production. It is a protein which results in a dramatic shift in how feed nutrients are used resulting in a pig which consumes less feed but has a dramatically improved carcass with more meat and less fat.

OzBioPharm has an experienced team of sales and technical people to provide advice and service on how to best use this extensive range of animal health products.

OzBioPharm also operates a Biotechnology facility in Melbourne. With over 50,000 litres of total fermentation capacity, the facility is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere and can produce hundreds of kilograms of recombinant protein per year. Sophisticated purification operations offer the ability to produce proteins to pharmaceutical specifications.

OzBioPharm is actively seeking additional partners to fully utilize this world-class facility. We can offer the ideal environment for taking laboratory or pilot projects to large commercial scale.
