Composition: Aureomycin (chlortetracycline hydrochloride) 200 g/kg
Actions: Broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic action.
Description: Grey to brown granules
Indications: For inclusion in the feed of pigs poultry and calves for prophylactic use when the veterinarian considers them to be at risk from disease, such as periods of stress including weaning, vaccination, transportation and rehousing, or for the treatment of diseases of pigs poultry and calves caused by micro-organisms sensitive to chlortetracycline.
Contraindications: DO NOT USE in lactating cows where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.
Warning: Any variation by the prescribing veterinarian to the registered dose, frequency, duration, route, disease or target species may result in the need to extend the approved withholding period.
First Aid: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131 126, New Zealand 0800 POISON (0800 764 766).
Disposal: Shake and empty contents into medicated feed. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
Withholding Period:
MEAT: (Prophylactic dose) 5 days (pigs and calves); 2 days (poultry)
(Therapeutic dose) 10 days (calves); 7 days (pigs and poultry)
EGGS: NIL
Dosage and Administration:
Prophylactic use: Thoroughly mix 500 g AUROFAC 200 Antibiotic Feed Supplement into each tonne of feed to give 100 g/tonne of chlortetracycline hydrochloride and administer for a period up to 4 weeks when protection is required.
Therapeutic use: Thoroughly mix 2 kg AUROFAC 200 Antibiotic Feed Supplement into each tonne of feed to give 400 g/tonne of chlortetracycline hydrochloride and administer for a period not exceeding 7 days as indicated.

Storage: Store below 30oC (Room Temperature) in a dry place.
