Product Description:
3-Nitro (roxarsone) has been demonstrated to consistently and reliably improve growth rate, feed efficiency and pigmentation when used as a feed additive for poultry. 3-Nitro is an excellent aid when used in combination with a primary anticoccidial such as Avatec, Cygro, Cycarb, or Cycostat and has excellent activity against Eimeria tenella.

Active Ingredient: Roxarsone (3-nitro-4-hydroxypherylarsonic acid)

Stability:
3-Nitro is stable in its original packaging, with a shelf life of 3 years. 3-Nitro is stable during pelleting and does not interact with other feed ingredients.

Safety:
Humans: 3-Nitro's elemental arsenic form is pentavalent (oxidized) and contains organic component. Its LD₅₀ is 155mg/kg when fed to rats.

Poultry: There is no toxic sign for finisher birds or birds up to 54 days of age if fed 3-Nitro at 25-50 mg/kg finished feed. A weak-leg condition can be developed in growing birds if fed at 100 mg/kg finished feed. However, this condition reverses on returning to recommended use level.

Swine: No signs of toxicity are observed when fed 3-Nitro at 50 mg/kg finished feed. Signs of toxicity are observed if fed 3-Nitro at 100 mg/kg finished feed. Such signs are reversed as soon as the 3-Nitro is withdrawn. A five-day withdrawal is required.
